One calendar

Everything your town puts on a schedule

Copy it once from your town's flyer, website or bill. Town Solutions works out every date for the next 12 months.

  • Trash

Weekly, with the holiday shift built in.

  • Recycling

Every other week, counted from a date you know.

  • Yard waste

Only in season: April to November, say.

  • Bulk pickup

Once a month, or on the dates the town lists.

  • Street sweeping

Second and fourth Tuesday: move the car.

  • Parking rule

Odd-side overnight parking from November 1.

  • Bill due

Water and sewer every three months.

  • Tax due

Both halves of the property tax, every year.

Holiday weeks

Monday holiday? The whole week slides a day.

Many haulers run a day late for the rest of a week that has a weekday holiday. Tell Town Solutions which holidays your town keeps, and every pickup that week moves for you.

  1. Mon Sep 7 Labor DayNo pickup today
  2. Tue Sep 8 Monday's pickup
  3. Wed Sep 9 Tuesday's pickup
  4. Thu Sep 10 Wednesday's pickup
  5. Fri Sep 11 Thursday's pickup
  6. Sat Sep 12 Friday's pickup

Slide a day

A weekday holiday on or before your pickup day moves pickup one day later. A common rule.

Skip it

No pickup on the holiday itself; the next one comes on schedule.

No change

For street sweeping, bills and anything holidays do not touch.

Your town comes first

Town Solutions is an independent tool. It is not your city, village, township, county or hauler, and it does not know your town's schedule until you type it in. Storms, strikes and new contracts change schedules: when your town announces something, follow the town and update your calendar.

Questions

Before you start

Do I need an account or an email address?

No. Your calendar lives at a private link that only you have. Bookmark it: it is the only key. We never ask for your email, so we cannot send the link again if you lose it.

Do you know my town's schedule?

No, and we never guess. You enter the days from your town's or hauler's own notice. The holiday list is yours to set too: six common ones are ticked to start.

Will my phone remind me?

Each routine can carry a reminder (the evening before, or the morning of). Apple Calendar keeps them if you leave its option to remove alerts switched off when you subscribe; Google Calendar uses its own notification settings instead. Details.

What does the Household Pass add?

Up to 40 routines, the live calendar feed, a 12-month print, a full year in the download, and a view-only link for the rest of the household. See pricing.
